Shop floor execution

The plant works from the order, not from a message.

Production orders, stage progress, BOM consumption, material issue, packing records and printable packing tags with batch, weight and QC status.

The problem

The works manager plans from a WhatsApp forward and a verbal date. Material is issued without a record, and finished bundles sit unlabelled until someone remembers which order they belong to.

What SysOMS enforces

A stage cannot be completed out of order.

Material issue writes to the stock ledger at the moment it happens.

Packing cannot proceed past a quality hold.

Inside production.

Production board

Every production order in one board, with stages, materials, quality and packing on the order itself.

Job cards

Printed for the floor, tied to the order line and its approved specification.

Material requirements

Calculated from the BOM, issued against the production order, consumed from stock with an audit trail.

Packing records and tags

Bundles recorded as they are packed, each tag carrying batch, weight and QC status for dispatch to draw from.

A day in this module

  1. Works manager opens the board: what is released, what is in progress, what is waiting on material.
  2. Issue material against the job card; the ledger updates as it moves.
  3. Record packing; finished goods receipt happens automatically.
